We respect our employees' rights to unionize, or not to unionize, as they so choose. When our employees decide to join a union, we pride ourselves on having an excellent track record of engaging in good faith negotiations.
Our Track Record
- Today, 17 percent of our U.S. workforce is unionized. By comparison, unions represent only 12.5 percent of the total U.S. workforce, and only 7.9 percent of private (non-governmental) workers.
- We have 320 collective bargaining agreements in place in the U.S.
- Our company policies are designed to protect our employees' rights and they expressly prohibit managers from discriminating against, harassing or taking any other negative action toward a worker who engages in lawful union organizing activities or otherwise supports a union.
